The US Mint recently updated their release schedule to include the Anna Harrison First Spouse Gold Coin. This will be the first release of 2009 for the First Spouse Gold Coin Series!

Similar to prior releases of the series,the coin will be struck in 24 karat gold and contain one half ounce of gold. There will be an uncirculated version of the coin as well as a proof version offered. The maximum authorized mintage and any ordering limits have not yet been announced by the US Mint.

Pricing for the offering will be based on the US Mint new pricing policy, which adjusts prices for gold numismatic products as frequently as weekly. If gold remains within its current range of $900 - $949.99 per ounce, the proof coins will be priced at $629 and the uncirculated coins will be priced at $616. Any time gold moves across one of the established $50 thresholds, the prices would change by $25.
